Nizhnekamsk hockey alumnus, two–time Stanley Cup Champion, NHL star for Utah Mammoth, Mikhail Sergachev, sent a gift of hockey sticks for the players of the Neftekhimik Hockey School. Team coaches presented the sticks to players aged 6 to 12.

2013 team captain Agdam Mindubyaev:
"It's always cool to receive a hockey stick as a gift, especially from Mikhail Sergachev – our coolest player. He also started at our school. That means we can do it too!"

Neftekhimik Hockey School Director Ildar Nugmanov: "Thank you, Mikhail, for your support and the wonderful gifts. We are proud of our student and very happy that our connection remains so strong all these years later. The hockey sticks were given to the young players as a sign of the support he provides personally and through his charitable foundation, Sector 98."

Mikhail Sergachev continues to support his school and its students. Every year, he holds master classes at the Malaya Ledovaya Arena in his hometown and donates hockey sticks to young players, inspiring them to achieve athletic success by his example. Last year, he founded the Sector 98 charitable foundation to scale up his good deeds. We wish Mikhail and his foundation great success!
