Neftekhimik lost to Ak Bars 1–4.
Neftekhimik head coach Igor Grishin tested the team's newcomers Zhafyarov, Nadvorny, Yelizarov, Chmykhov, Kudashov, Popugayev and Sushko in action.
After several Neftekhimik attacks, Ak Bars moved the game offensive zone and opened the scoring quite soon. After a long shot, Semyonov redirected the puck.
It should be said that the home team shot more often from the blue line in the hope that one of the forwards would change the direction of the puck's flight. The second goal against us was the same as a first one. This time, Galimov scored.
At the end of the period, Neftekhimik conceded a goal while being on the power play.
In the second period of the game, Neftekhimik changed its gmae in a right way and had goal–scoring chances one after another. But each time, Berdin kept his team in the game.
In the third period, Berdin also played reliably. Nevertheless, Neftekhimik found a way to score a goal. The referee disallowed the first goal after watching the game cameras. Still, the puck crossed the goal line after a kick.
Soon enough, Khoruzhev's line scored a clean goal on the second attempt. Nikita Khoruzhev scored after rebound, who went out on the ice for the first time as an assistant captain.
Unfortunately, after that, we did not score any goals and conceded the 4th goal.
