ALEXANDER KUCHERYAVENKO: “I will try to share my experience with young players”

-I am so glad that such an ambitious team drew attention to me. Many pupils of «Neftekhimik» hockey school are playing here. I look forward to preseason camp, to meet the coaching staff and teammates
- You are the second player from Belgorod in our team. In the 2008-2009 season Alexander Bumagin played here «Neftekhimik». Could you tell us about your first steps in hockey?
- We keep in touch with Alexander Bumagin. We played together In Belgorod. Our first coach, Boris Volkov, is a big fan of his job. At the age of 11 I moved to Moscow. There I played in the «Rus» team. Vadim Shipachev and Gleb Klimenko played there too.
- Do you know any of «Neftekhimik» players?
- I am familiar with Konstantin Barulin - at one time we played together in «Spartak». I played with Andrei Kostitsyn's brother Sergei in «Rus».
- Have you already decided what number you will take?
- I chose the number 15 . I had this number in «Rus».
- In 2007, you got a silver medal of the World Cup. Do you keep in touch with someone from that team?
- It was 13 years ago. I keep in touch with almost all the guys from that team.
- What do you think about the time you that you had to spend at home during the quarantine?
- Honestly, I did not think about it. There is a feeling that life has stopped to some extent. Now everything is getting better. April-May is the time when you can be with your family. During the season we cannot spend enough time with our families. I just enjoy this time with my family.
- What would you like to say to «Neftekhimik» fans?
I would like to wish our fans a great health. Take care of yourself and your loved ones.
