Alexander Osipov: «We played in the wrong way»

Alexander Osipov, defenseman of HC «Neftekhimik»:

- In the first period, we played in the wrong way and conceded two goals. In the second period, we finally scored and later conceded one more goal. We had great chances to score and to tie the game. Their goalie played great. «Metallurg» is a strong team with a good forecheck. We need to score and not make mistakes in order to win.

- Do you agree that the 2-man advantage was a key moment?

- There was a chance, of course, it was necessary to score, but we did not score. It is important to take advantage of all chances.

- In the second period «Neftekhimik» scored on the power play, there was a good traffic in front of their goaltender. Why «Neftekhimik» did not use this great 5 on 3 opportunity?

- Maybe we just wanted to score as soon as possible. «Metallurg» played well in the D-zone and blocked our shots.
