29.09.2026

Neftekhimik lost to Amur 0–1.
During first period Neftekhimi kand Amur had plenty of scoring chances. Both goaltenders did a good job and kept their teams in the game.At the start of the second period, there was back–and–forth hockey. Neftekhimik stormed Dorozhko's net at high speed, and the hosts answered immediately with a lightning counterattack of their own. In that crucial moment, Yaroslav Ozolin saved the day, reacting decisively to deflect the puck and stop the chance from becoming a goal. Seconds later, Neftekhimik defensemen combined perfectly to clear the crease.
At a certain point, Amur increased their activity and started possessing the puck more often. Kirill Urakov – a former Neftekhimik player – got a great opportunity to open the scoring. He was alone in front of Ozolin, but Yaroslav was absolutely reliable.
The game was also played at a high tempo yet remained remarkably clean. The first penalty came only at the midway point of the game: Alexei Kruchinin was sent to the box for tripping, giving our team a two-minute power play. However, Neftekhimik managed only one truly dangerous chance at Maxim Dorozhko's net: Rafael Bikmullin tried to force the puck in during a tight scramble, but the Amur goaltender reacted sharply and snuffed out the threat.
The game was decided early in the third period when Amur managed to poke the puck into our net. That goal turned out to be the only one of the game. Despite the loss, our team deserves credit for battling to the very end.
