Neftekhimik have won second game in a row against Amur 5–4.
Amur player David Tomacek gave Amur lead scoring on the power play. Neftekhimik forward Vyacheslav Leshchenko tied the game up on the power play in the mddle of the first period. Vyacheslav have scored his second goal in two games since joining Neftekhimik.In the second period Amur scored 3 unanswered goals.
In the beginning of the third period the score was 1–4, our team did not give up and did its best to change the outcome of the game. Mikhail Sidorov and Eduard Gimatov scored on the power plays. When 10 minutes left before the final whistle, Mikhail Sidorov scored his second goal and made it 4–4!
In the overtime, Dan Sexton scored a game-winning goal after a great rush of the offensive zone by Ronald Knot, who scored 3 points today! These 2 wins in a row moved Neftekhimik to the 7th place in the standings. Our team reached a playoffs zone and have to earn as much points as possible to secure it.
