Andrei Belozyorov: «It is great that we won»
20.10.2026
Neftekhimik forward Andrei Belozyorov speaks with the media after a following 1–0 win over Lokomotiv.
– I feel great. The most important thing is that the team won, and I managed to score a great, game-winning goal. I would like to acknowledge everyone associated with the Neftekhimik club – all my teammates over these past five years, my family, and my parents. Thank you all so much. I dedicate this record to my family!– When you first joined Neftekhimik, could you have ever imagined that you would set a new club record?
– Probably not, no – but everything comes through hard work and dedication.
– As for the game itself, could you sum it up?
– It was a good, back-and-forth game. It is great that we won, and Fil (Fillip Dolganov) was absolutely fantastic – he really bailed us out.
– The opponent outshot us today; how were you able to secure the win?
– They did outshoot us, yes, but we focused on playing the right way – clearing the front of the net and blocking shots. And I will say it again: Fil was outstanding – he kept us in the game!
