Anvar Valiyev: «We prepared well»

Reaktor goaltender Anvar Valiyev speaks with the media after a following 4–1 win over Sputnik.
– «I have nothing but positive impressions – we got the win today, it was a good game, the guys fought and tried hard and blocked shots.»According to Valiyev, the first preseason game is always special, having a bit of anxiety is typical at the start of training.
– «We did not feel any pressure; we prepared well. There was a certain amount of pressure, but that's okay for this stage.»
Anvar emphasized that winning is important even during preseason games.
– «Every game should end with a win – that matters even in preseason. It is important to build that momentum now so we can confidently start the season.»
The goaltender noted that winning first game is especially rewarding, as it gives him confidence going into the next game.
– «It is always nice to start the next game after a win. Tomorrow the opponent will be much more aggressive and the game will be a completely different story.»
