Neftekhimik got a win over Barys 5–2.
In the first period, bot team did not score any goals.In the second, the home team scored first goal of the game, but the goal was disallowed. A little bit later, Neftekhimik forward German Tochilkin had a turnover and set up Nikita Khoruzhev for a great wrist shot. Moreover, one minute later, Andrei Belozyorov doubled Neftekhimik's advantage. After that, Belozyorov scored his second of the night and made it 3–1. Bartys did not give up and scored one goal back.
In the third, Neftekhimik forward Ivan Nikolishin scored his first goal as a Neftekhimik player. Three minutes before the end of the third, Belozyorov scored his first KHL hat–trick!.
