Danil Yurtaikin: «We had a good first period»

Neftekhimik forward Danil Yurtaikin speaks with the media after a following 4–1 win over Avtomobilist.
Late in the game, when Danil Yurtaikin and Andrei Belozyorov were facing an empty net, Danil did not make a shot himself, but passed the puck to Andrei, who made it 4-1.Danil commented:
– I just thought it was necessary to pass the puck. I saw Belyi (Belozyorov) skating behind me. I thought, why not pass it to him, let him score. In terms of the game, we had a good first period. We started well. In the second period, the initiative shifted to the opponent, and we had to play a lot in our own zone. But we held our ground. Our penalty killing unid did a good job. On the power play, we capitalized on our chances and brought the game to a victory.
– The team's captain got injured in the second period. Did that have any impact on the team's performance?
– Absolutely. We talked in the locker room during the break. We fought for Alexander and for our fans who were rooting for us. We wish Sasha good health, first and foremost.
