Danila Popov: «It was a hard win for us»

Neftekhimik forward Danila Popov speaks with the media after a following 4–3 win over Admiral.

– Congrats on a victory to everyone! It was a hard win for us. For the first two periods, the opponent played well in the neutral zone, defensive zone, as simple as possible, and stuck to its game task. We could not get past this defense. In the third period, put more pressure on the opponent’s net, made more shots and scored good goals.

– Before the third period, it seemed that the team spent it’s all luck in the game against Lada.

– Yeah, we created chances in the first period, if we had scored, the game could have gone in different way. Goaltender Khomchenko played great. We are working on all aspects of the game and preparing for the next game.
