Neftekhimik forward Evgeny Mityakin speaks with the media after a following SO 2–3 loss against Kunlun RS.
– We had a good beginning of the game. In the first period, we had a lot of power play and a lot of scoring chances, unfortunately, we scored only 1 goal. In the third period, we tried to tie the game up. We could score in overtime. In shootout series, we were not lucky enough. You know, we cannot step back. We are getting ready for the upcoming game.
– What is the problem with Neftekhimik power play?
– Yes, I agree that we have some problems. We work on it a lot during our practices. We need to score at least one goal on the power play and confidence will come.
