First wave of the preparation for the upcoming season

Mid–July is the time for players with two–way contracts to prepare for the upcoming season.
This morning, 18 Neftekhimik players gathered to take tests and undergo an in–depth medical examination before the start of pre–season camp. Neftekhimik players Nikita Khoruzhev and Nikita Popugayev shared their emotions.
Neftekhimik forward Nikita Khoruzhev:
– We gathered for a medical examination - this is part of the preparation for the training process. I am glad to see everyone. I studied and trained in the summer, everything is already in order. We are waiting for all the fans in the stands, the pre-season matches are coming soon!
Neftekhimik forward Nikita Popugayev:
– I arrived in Nizhnekamsk yesterday. I visited the locker room, the beautiful Ice Palace, I really liked it. Then I went to the base, slept and walked around a bit in the evening. It's a nice city, cozy. There are a lot of acquaintances on the team - the head coach Igor Vladimirovich Grishin, the team doctor Roman Vladimirovich Sokolov (we were together at the victorious JHL Cup), Yegor Korbit and I are graduates of the same system, and we played together with Nikita Kvartalnov. I hope we have a good season ahead!
