Neftekhimik forward German Tochilkin speaks with the media after a following 5–2 win over Sibir.
– It was a tense game, like playoff one, because there were so many puck battles and plenty of physical hockey. Thank God we won; games like this give us confidence.– What did the coaching staff say during the first intermission?
– That we need to play our game and do not change anything.
– What can you say about your goal...
– Fyodor (Kroshinsky) saw me and made a great pass. All I had to do was not to miss.
– The second period was a fiery one. Why?
– All our guys were fired up for the game, which is why we scored so many goals in the second period. We took advantage of our goal–scoring chances. We create chances game after game, but we don't always score goals.
– The third period was tough; the opponent attacked a lot. What was going through your mind at that moment?
– The opponent needed to make a comeback, taht is why they played that way. We held our ground and did our job right.
– What is your mood before the All–Star Game?
– I feel great because we won the last game before that. I am really looking forward to it.
