German Tochilkin: «We won't change anything»
02.02.2026

Neftekhimik forward German Tochilkin speaks with the media after a following 1–2 loss against Salavat Yulaev.
– You always feel bad when you lose, but still, what emotions do you have after the game?
– It's very unpleasant to lose to our direct competitor. I don't know, I think we did everything we could, and I don't think there are any complaints against any of the guys. Everyone fought hard, dedicated themselves and their energy to the game. It's a shame that we lost.
– The game was similar to the last one, which was also held in Ufa and the score was 2–1. What's the difference?
– These games are very similar. We already know Salavat Yulaev, they've studied the way we play; after all, it's the fifth game of the season. It's just harder to play in front of a full house here at Salavat's home arena. There was probably more emotion in the game than at home.
– There was some physeical play, including you and Rempal. If it's not a secret, what did he say to you, and what did you say to him?
– It was all good, but let's keep it a secret.
– Salavat extends its winning streak to five games, and unfortunately, you've started a losing streak. How can we win the next game and end our losing streak?
– I wouldn't call it a streak; this is only the second loss, and we've been playing well. We're giving it our all, we're just a little unlucky. We'll play our game and wait.
– You have a game coming up before the break against Sibir. How will you play against a team that beat Ak Bars?
– As we usually do. We won't change anything; we'll play our game.
– How will you spend the All-Star break?
– I'm going to the All-Star Game, and the guys will probably have a couple of days off. Fillip and I will be making our debut.
– Have you prepared anything for the All-Star Game?
– Not yet, but there's still time.
