Gleb Semyonov: «It is always unpleasant to concede a goal after scoring»

Neftekhimik defenseman Gleb Semyonov speaks with the media after a following 1–4 loss against Sibir.

– I think it was a good game. In the second period we did not take an initiative. We need shoot more. We have to give credit to Sibir. As they took the lead, they played well defensively; we could not find a right way to score more.

– Do not you think that first conceded goal break the game for your team?

– It is always unpleasant to concede a goal after scoring. I do not think it somehow affected our game. We also wanted to score.

– The first two games of this road trip were not as fast paced as today’s game.

– We always play a fast-paced hockey. Sibir is also a fast team. It just happened that two young, aggressive teams played against each other.
