The pupils were interested in literally everything: starting with the impression of our city and ending with Hunter's first steps on the ice. English teachers also asked Hunter about his family and his favorite Russian dish – borscht.

The most interesting question was following: «Have Hunter tried echpochmak?». Neftekhimik forward with a little difficulty, but in a right way repeated the new word «ech-poch-mak» and admitted that he had not tried it yet.

After the end of the lesson, the pupils hand to Hunter a New Year's gift. Also, all the pupils received invitation tickets for the next home game, and on behalf of the Hockey Club, Hunter presented the school principal with a Letter of Gratitude for cooperation and great support of the team.

We asked Hunter and Kamilla, a 9th grade Pupil, to share their impressions of the lesson.

– Hunter, did you like school №36?
– The school is incredibly nice it was very fun. The kids, they are super nice with good English, I really liked it.

– Are there many differences between the Russian school and the Canadian one?
– I think the only thing was that all kids wore uniform. Not all Canada schools kids wear uniforms.

Kamilla:
– Today it was very interesting for me; I liked it and learned a lot of new things.

– How easy was it for you to understand Hunter?
– It was easy. I understood everything; there were no problems at all.

– How important it is to talk with native speakers of a foreign language? Do not you think that it is enough to use textbook and speak with an English teacher?
– No, no, face-to-face communication is necessary. Of course, textbooks and teachers are also important, but it is kind of theory. You know, communication adds emotions and forces  you to learn the language, you can learn a lot of new words and find out how good is your English!
