Reaktor Head Coach Igor Fyodorov speaks with the media after a following 5–3 win over Kuznetskie Medvedi.
– It was an interesting game. Both teams wanted to win and fought to the very end. We played well in the first two periods, but we let the game down at the end: a stupid mistake led to a goal. That could have turned the game upside down. Our guys are like that; they can come up with a surprise at any moment. Thank God, we won and got the two points we needed.
– It really was a tense ending. We needed a timeout. What did you tell the players then?
– There was no panic; we talked wit hthe guys. Again, the ending could have been completely different, so the timeout was necessary.
– Defenseman Ivan Birdychkin is missing his second game in a row. Will we see him in the next game against Sibirskie Snipery?
– Ivan has a fever. We will see how he's doing tomorrow and then draw conclusions. So it's hard to say when he will be ready.
