But the most important thing is that we continue to fight.
We had a terrible last minute of the first period – we conceded two goals. During the break there was a very calm conversation in the locker room, because it was felt that the team was in the right mood, the team was rolling, which meant that it could save the game. We just had to believe in our strength. And it happened. We tied the game up in the second period.
In the third period, at any second, everything could have turned in either direction. Vlad Rukhlyadev saved the penalty shot in the 51st minute. Probably, this gave everyone additional strength.
There was a fantastic ending of the game. Literally millimeters decided the fate of the game. The referees watched the video for so long that we said all the prayers we knew on the bench.
