Reaktor Head Coach Igor Fyodorov speaks with the media after a following 4–5 loss against Tymenskky Legion.
– We played well, Kolymayev did a good job. We were ready to play, but the mistakes we made were key moment of this game. We gave a lot of emotion in the last game. Perhaps that also influenced the outcome. But that is not an excuse; we should have won. We have a young team, and the guys make mistakes. But they learn from their mistakes. I think we will improve in the next game.
– The first twenty minutes were dominated by the opponent. Why?
– It is hard to answer that question. I agree, we completely lost the first period. We had a lot of turnovers, as many as 17 in the first. We will watch the video tomorrow and analyze our mistakes.
– What do we need to do to avoid making the same mistakes in the next game?
– As clichéd as it may sound, follow the coach's instructions. The guys keep the puck under control in the neutral zone, prepare for each shift and not give in to the opponent.
