Reaktor Head Coach Igor Fyodorov speaks with the media after a following 2–4 loss against Tolpar.
– We played well. Unfortunately, Alexander Panov got injured in the second period. We were left with three centers, so we decided to switch to a three–line game. The guys created goal–scoring chances, fought hard, and made good saves. Unfortunately, our opponents were head and shoulders above us, both in player selection and skill. I woll say that everyone played hard today and wanted to win.– What was missing to tie the game in the third period?
– Probably the depth of the lineup. We lacked a center forward and some more senior players. Again, we switched to a three–line game as the game progressed. That affected the game.
– In the last game, you focused especially on the second period. How was it today?
– We tried to focus on the second half of the second period. Each team scored one goal. So, I think the guys understood everything and played well in that period.
