Also, "Neftekhimik" signed a new one-year contract with Vyacheslav Butsayev.
In the season 2018-2019 we got 52 points and took 10th place in the conference. This season we got 64 points and got into playoffs.
This season has shown that our club is developing in the right way. We paid special attention on our players from "Reaktor".
Damir Sharipzyanov and Pavel Poryadin were invited to our national team to take part in several stages of the Eurotour. Maxim Groshev, Pavel Padakin, Ziyat Paigin and Alexander Bryntsev played in the Russian Olympic team (Kaufland Cup).
Pavel Poryadin took part in the KHL ALL STAR GAME in Moscow. Bulat Motygullin was the captain of the team of the Eastern conference at the Challenge Cup.
Our sponsors and partners fulfill all their obligations to the Club. The team is provided with all necessary sports equipment, pre-season camps, participation in the championship, including air traveling to other cities, hotel accommodation, meals, were fully funded. Salaries are paid according to contracts and applicable law.
An important place in the life of the Club is occupied by work on marketing and public relations.

We paid special attention on home games of "Neftekhimik". Three last home games of the regular season were dedicated to 75th anniversary of victory in the 1941–1945 Great Patriotic War.
This season, 118,320 fans visited home games of our team at the "Neftekhim Arena". Online ticket sales increased.
We got a new fan club! Rashid Zaripov is the leader of this club. Our fans were in Kazan, Yekaterinburg, and Ufa. We will continue actively help to our fans to visit neighboring cities and regions to cheer for our team in away games.

First of all, I would like to thank the guys for the work, for the support of the fans, the mass media. Special thanks to the club management, to ex-president of the club Azat Bikmurzin. Everything was organized great.
The season was mixed with bad and good moments. We had good games and bad games. We set some new club records.
In terms of stability we need to work. We got a good lesson from this season, we got a new experience for our guys young players.
Playoffs. We tried to fight and to win. "Ak Bars" is the champion of our conference, and playoffs experience of the players helped them in the playoffs.
Last ten games we were in the mode of the seventh playoffs game; we fought for the cup eight. Probably somewhere was a lack in physical strength, somewhere emotional. I have no complaints against any player. Someone was injured and etc. But there are no excuses.
In the home games of the first round we were close to win, especially in the first home game. But lady luck was not on our side. We saw how the team battled to the very end.
Some players surprised us, someone did not show what we expected. It takes a long time to build a team, not one day. I believe that at the end of the season we showed and proved to everyone that our team deserved to be in the playoffs.
The guys were able to complete the task. Not always the work of the coaching staff is one hundred percent result. It is more depend on the team. This season we had the team that was able to cope with the task.
Vyacheslav Kasatkin, the head coach of the "Reaktor":
- It was not a good season. Somewhere there was not enough experience for the young guys to play more responsibly with our opponents and with those teams that were below us in the standings. As a result - we could not get into the cup eight.
It is not right to blame someone. We just did not replace guys, who left our team. There was not enough experience somewhere, the depth or stability on our defense zone.
