Ilya Fedotov: «It is good that we got one point»

Neftekhimik forward Ilya Fedotov speaks with the media after a following a 1–2 overtime loss against Torpedo.

– We played against good opponent. They are a fast and young team. I know it well enough. We tried to play our game and stick to our tactics. It is good that we got one point, but it would be better for us to get two points.

– Neftekhimik had a lot of goal-scoring chances. Did their goalie played well or Neftekhimik did not take advantage of its chances?

– Both, the goaltender played well and we had to keep our head cool. Shoot more and pass less, take advantage of our scoring chances.

– How does it feel to play against former team?

– To be honest, I had a pleasant excitement. I spent so many years here. I was excited. Coming here feels like coming home. The fans here are great. They always support their team. There was a great hockey atmosphere. It was fun to play.
