Ilya Khokhlov: «It is a pity that we lost this game»

Neftekhimik defenseman Ilya Khokhlov speaks with the media after a following 1–2 shootout loss against Amur.

– It is a pity that we lost this game. We had a great chance to score on the power play at the last 4 minutes of the game. Unfortunately, we did not take advantage of this. It was a key thing of the game.

In shootout, we were not lucky enough to get 2 points.

– Neftekhimik D-man Maxim Goncharov played offensevily more than in the game before.

– Coaching staff is not against it. If we, d-guys join attacks, somebody have to back us up. Maksim has a great skating skill as well as offensive skills. He had a good opportunity to score a game-winng goal in overtime.
