Reaktor defenseman Ilya Vasilyev speaks with the media after a following 1–3 loss agains tSibirskie Snaipery.
– We've had a busy week, with one game after another. But that's no excuse. Regardless of the schedule, we must come into the game with maximum energy, draw out all our emotions, and fight from the very first seconds. Unfortunately, we only found our stride in the second period. If we ignore individual mistakes, we looked great. But we're definitely not giving up, and we'll try to get revenge tomorrow.– This is the third game in a row that we've conceded in the first minute of the period. What do you attribute that to?
– I think we can fix that. Those conceded goals are mostly a coincidence.
– Despite the unfavorable score, we fought until the final buzzer. It's no coincidence that we scored one goal. Can you tell me if that can carry over to tomorrow's game?
– Of course! We play until the very end, working hard for the full 60 minutes. We never give up; we follow our coach's instructions. It doesn't matter what the score is, you always have to play until the end. If you score a goal at the end, at least the excitement can carry over to the next game.
