Reaktor defenseman Ivan Birdychkin speaks with the media after a following 2–1 win over Krasnoyarskie Rysi.
– That was a hard game. We were running low on energy late in the game. I believe we battled well and, when it was all over, we came away with the win.
– The last goal frustrated the coach. Do you believe it was avoidable?
– That was an unnecessary error from us. We led 2–0 and could have closed the game out comfortably. You know, such things happen, no big deal. The key thing is the win.
– How would you rate the team’s physical condition?
– Everything is fine. We prepared in Moscow and did some good work there. Tomorrow we will train with fresh energy and then, we are back in the thick of it.
– Will playing on consecutive days have any effect?
– No. This is not the first time we have had to play this way. Everyone is ready for it.
