In the first period, Danila Popov scored his first goal of the season. Seven minutes later, Kunlun RS tied the game up. In the beginning of the second period, Kunlun RS scored on the power play and took the lead. Nevertheless, Neftekhimik tied the game up quickly. Hunter Shinkaruk scored his first goal of the season during 4-on-3 hockey.

Kunlun RS scored another one power play goal and took a 2-goal lead. Pavel Poryadin scored 4 minutes before the final whistle.
