Neftekhimik lost to Lada 1–2.
In the first, Neftekhimik had more goal–scoring chances. German Tochilkin, Nikita Khoruzhev, Andrei Belozyorov, and Matvei Nadvorny had great chacnes.The second period did not change much. In the 39th minute, Lada scored two goal in a row.
Late in the third, Neftekhimik head coach Igor Grishin called a 30–second timeout, after which six players managed made it 1–2. Unfortunately, there was not enough time to tie the game up.
