Neftekhimik got a shootout win over Lokomotiv 2–1.
Neftekhimik forward Riley Barber scored first goal of the game in the 28th minute. Two minutes later, Lokomotiv tied the game up.In the third period both teams tried to get a win in regulation time. Nevertheless, the game went into overtime.
In overtime, Neftekhimik got a great chance to win it with Lokomotiv taking 2 minute penalty. Unfortyunately, that did not work out for our team.
During the shootout Fillip Dolganov stopped all the shots he faced and Vladimir Bryukvin scored a game–winning goal.
It is also worth to mention that Filipp Dolganov stopped 39 shots in regulation time.
