– Marsel, how do you feel?

– I am a little nervous because this is my first interview.

– Are you from Nizhnekamsk?

– Yes. I live with my parents. My first coaches at the Neftekhimik Hockey School are Yuri Ivanov and Ilya Susloparov. We achieved great success, reached the Russia Championship final in the YHL, played well, and were a top 10 team of the country.

– Who put you on skates?

– At the age of seven, my dad and I visited Neftekhimik game; I was so charged by this atmosphere and I told my father: «I want to be a hockey player». After that, I started practicing at Neftekhimik hockey school.

– What is the mood of the team now?

– We are in a good mood. We did not expect Amir Nugmanov to be traded. It is what it is. Anyway, it is a great opportunity for him. We wish him good luck. Now we are getting ready for the upcoming games.

– Who usually cheers for you during home games?

– Parents and grandparents. It is important for me.

– What do you do after bad games?

– I try not to focus on previous games. You need to move forward and prepare for the next game.

– What are your ambitions in sports?

– I want to play on Neftekhimik team in the best league in Russia.

– How do you spend time with your teammates off the ice?

– We play Playstation and PC games with Renard Mustafin and Alexei Poteryayev. I need to go to school this weekend and have a rest.
