Mikhail, welcome back to Nizhnekamsk!

Two weeks ago, on September 29, 22-year-old defenseman from the «Neftekhimik» hockey school won a Stanley Cup with the «Tampa Bay Lightning»! The Lightning defeated the Dallas Stars in the 2020 Stanley Cup Final and won their second Stanley Cup.

Mikhail is a first player from Nizhnekamsk city and Republic of Tatarstan who won Stanley Cup!

Mikhail visited his school No. 31. At «Neftekhim Arena» Mikhail was greeted by General Director of PJSC «Nizhnekamskneftekhim» Airat Safin, Deputy General Director (Human Resources and Social Affairs) Rodion Bulashov, as well as Director of IHC «Neftekhimik» Igor Larionov, Director of the Sports Centre «Neftekhimik» Sergei Klipachev, Director of the Youth Sports School «Neftekhimik» Gennady Sergeyev and first Mikhail’ coach Andrei Zharenkov.
