After first 20 minutes of the game, Filipp Dolaganov stopped 19 shots.Midway through the second period Dmitry Zhukenov scored first goal of the evening on an odd-man rush.
In the third period, SKA tried to tie the game up. Neftekhimik played well defensively, Dolganov kept the team in the game.
Eight minutes before the end of the third period, Neftekhimik got a power play chance to make it 2–0. Our power play units did a great job and Zhukenov scored his second of the evening.
Filipp Dolganov recorded his third shutout of the season. He stopped all 36 shots he faced.
