Neftekhimik got a win over Avangard 2–1 (OT).

Ilya Khokhlov scored first goal in the first minute of the period. Midway through the first period Avangard tied the game up on the power play.

In overtime, Avangard got an extra player on the ice and played with an empty net. Filipp Dolganov did a great job and stopped the four shots he faced. Neftekhimik got a power play opportunity and called a time-out. Andrei Belozyorov scored a game-winning goal in the final second of overtime.
