The first period was pretty fast–paced, both teams had scoring chances. Neftekhimik forward Artur Tyanulin scored first goal of the game on the power play in the first period.In the second period, the guest team took advantage of its power play chance. Midway through the second, Artur Tyanulin scored his second of the night.
In the third period, Neftekhimik did not concede any goals and Rafael Bikmullin scored an empty-net goal.
