Neftekhimik lost to Ak Bars 3–4.

Neftekhimik took a quick lead. Pavel Poryadin and Andrei Belozyorov scored two goals 90 seconds midway through the first period.

Thirtyeight seconds before the first intermission, Ak Bars pulled one back when Dmitry Kagarlitsky scored on the power play.

In the third period, Vadim Shipachyov got the tying goal on the power play. A few minutes later, another Ak Bars PP made it 2–3. Fifty seconds later, Ak Bars took a two-goal advantage. Six minutes before the final whistle, Vyacheslav Leshchenko scored a shorthanded goal. Unfortunately, that was not enough to get any points in today’s game.
