Neftekhimik lost to Ak Bars 3-7.
In the first period, our team tried to do its best, unfortunately, Ak Bars scored first goal of the game.In the second period, Timur Khafizov tied the game, and then Neftekhimik got a power play and let Ak Bars scored second goal. Our opponent scored 4 more goals in the second period. From our side Dan Sexton scored second goal.
In the third period, Ak Bars scored 6th goal. Later, our team got one more power play. Danila Popov scored on the power play and made it 6-3. At the last minute of the period, Ak Bars scored last goal of the game.
Neftekhimik opens upcoming campaign on Sep. 2 when it hosts the Kunlun RS. We are waiting for all fans of hockey!
