In the 18th minute of the first period, Admirals scored first goal of the evening. In the second period, Admiral scored on the power play and at even strength.

Late in the third period, Bulat Shafigullin made it 1–3. After that, Neftekhimik scored two goals in a minute – Nikita Setdikov and Dmitry Sokolov tied the game up. Twenty-six seconds before the end of the third period, Dmitry Sokolov scored a game-winning goal.
