Neftekhimik got a shootout win over Dynamo Msk 4–3.
In four minutes, the guest team got a two–goal lead in the first period. Six minutes later, Neftekhimik player Kirill Kapustin made it 1–2 midway through the first period.In the second period, Nikita Khoruzhev tied the game up. After that, German Tochilkin made it 3–2 22 seconds before the end of the second period.
After three minutes of the the third period, the same Kirill Kapustin scored his second of the game, helping Neftekhimik to get back a two–goal lead. After that, at the end of the third, Dynamo Msk scored its third goal and later, tried to tie the game up with an extra player on the ice. Neftekhimik did a great job defensively and secured its win.
