Neftekhimik lost to Barys 5–6 (OT).

Rafael Bikmullin scored first goal of the evening. Forty seconds later, Barys tied the game up. After that, Alexander Dergachyov scored on the power play.

In the second period, Barys scored two power play goals. Our team tried its best. Unfortunately, we did not take advantage of goal-scoring chances we had.

At the start of the third Neftekhimik made it 3–3 on the power play. Rafael Bikmulliun scored his second of the evening twenty-two seconds later. Barys did not give up and tied the game up – 4–4. Before the end of the third period, both team scored and were ready for overtime. Unfortunately, we were not lucky enough to get two points.
