Neftekhimik has signed forward Nikita Popugayev (06/13/1998, 176/81, SH:L).
Popugayev, 27, scored 48 (31+17) points in 70 VHL games last season.
We are happy to welcome Nikita to the Pack and wish him a great season!

– Nikita is a creative forward, with good speed, high game intelligence and a sense of scoring goals. The Head Coach Igor Grishin is well aware of his capabilities. Igor Grishin, of course, will help this player realize his potential at a new level.
Popugaev has been one of Rubin's leaders in the VHL for several seasons, and in the championship that has just ended, Nikita became the League's top sniper. His productive play has earned him a chance to try his hand at the KHL.
We wish Nikita nothing but success at the KHL level.
