Neftekhimik played an exhibition game in Naberezhnye Chelny

01.05.2026

Neftekhimik played its last game of the tour of Tatarstan.

Before the game and during intermissions, a live concert was held in the Ice Palace foyer, along with a cheerleading squad and Neftekhimik merchandise sales. Even so, half the fans were wearing jerseys, scarves, and baseball caps with the Wolves logo. Among the fans were not only Chelny residents but also those from Nizhnekamsk.

The mascots of both teams were especially popular – the Wolf and the Moose happily posed for photos with the fans. Filipp Dolganov didn't play this time, but he managed to attract fans in a different way. During the break, a long line of autographs formed for the Neftekhimik goalie, taking up half the foyer. Taking a selfie with Volk was a bit easier, but the line was still quite long.

The stands were packed that day. During breaks in the hockey games, shootout contests entertained the fans. Everyone cheered for every goal, enjoying the spectacular game.

Neftekhimik forward Matvei Zaseda:
– I really enjoyed the game. I hope the fans did too. It's always important for us to play in front of the fans – there were especially many of them today, and it's nice that half the stands were supporting our team.

Reaktor defenseman Ilya Vasilyev:
– I'm glad I had the chance to try myself to play among experienced players. Of course, this isn't a championship, and we weren't playing at our best, but no one wanted to lose. It wasn't a one-sided game. Both Chelny and we tried to please our fans. It turned out to be a good and real game.

The game in Naberezhnye Chelny was a great conclusion to Neftekhimik's tour of Tatarstan, bringing a lot of excitement to both players and fans.
