Neftekhimik's KHL lesson

Back in October, Neftekhimik started a challenge among Nizhnekamsk schoolchildren: you need to attend a game with a support banner, including your school number. The grand prize was to host a large KHL lesson at their school. School No. 9 won this challenge, as its students were the most active participants in our challenge.
We promised – and we did it! Five Neftekhimik forwards – Nikita Popugaev, Nikolai Krivolapov, Matvei Nadvorny, Grigory Seleznyov, and Danila Kvartalnov – visited School No.9!

The students are the most active fans of our team – right from the start, they chanted : "WHO ARE WE?! WOLVES!". The kids got to know the team better and then had the chance to join the hockey players in a lesson.
Danila Kvartalnov attended music class. Danila and the students took part in a music quiz and then sang songs, including our game–winning song, "In the Dawn" (Na zare).
"We had to guess the melodies from the pictures; the kids are great, they guessed everything quickly. I had a great time and sat at my favorite desk at the back. I've always been taller than everyone else, so sitting there felt a little nostalgic," – said Neftekhimik forward Danila Kvartalnov.

Nikita Popugayev and Nikolai Krivolapov attended a math lesson. They didn't just sit at a desk; they worked with the students on problems, calculating the speed of a puck and a hockey player. Was it difficult? Not at all! Nikolai Krivolapov admitted that math has always been one of his favorite subjects, so it's a piece of cake to solve these kind of problems.

"It was a great class. I've always loved math and always got good grades. I loved everything," – said Neftekhimik forward Nikolai Krivolapov.
And Matvei Nadvorny and Grigory Seleznyov attended their favorite class – physical education. They led the students through a warm-up and then played volleyball together!

"I got back at school time and atmosphere. I miss school, and I have fond memories of those carefree times," – said Neftekhimik forward Matvei Nadvorny. After classes, our players visited the school's Military Glory Museum of Hero of the Soviet Union Nikita Fadeyevich Kaimanov.
