Neftekhimik forward Nikita Artamonov speaks with the media after a following 2–5 loss against Torpedo. Artamonov played his 150th KHL game.
– Nikita, congratulations on your first goal for Neftekhimik! It seemed like you were looking forward to score in the game against Torpedo.
– No, of course not. I want to score in every game. It just happened that I managed to score in this one.
– How is it?
– Well, of course, it was nice. Dad was at the game and was really looking forward to that goal, too. The most important thing is the team.Unfortunately, we lost today.
– Today we faced a strong team that likes to play fast–paced hockey.
– I think it's always fun to play fast–paced hockey, but we should not forget about defense. Luck just was not on our side.
– We were up by two goals. Why we did not manage to keep the lead alive?
– We were a little unlucky in some moments. Again, today was not our day, and our mistakes also contributed to the loss.
