Neftekhimik forward Nikolai Krivolapov speaks with the media after a following 4–1 win over HC Chelny.
– We have great emotions. We managed to score, and the team won. The goalies played well, everyone played well. It was a quite good.— You already had experience playing for Neftekhimik. Did that help you get used to the ice?
— Yes, it did. KHL experience gives you a lot. It helps you think and make decisions faster. At the same time it was still tough – it was our first preseason game. Chelny skated well.
— If we were to talk about the differences between the JHL and KHL levels, what would you highlight?
— I would highlight physical play, a lot more one-on-one play, and faster decision-making.
