Nikolai Krivolapov: «It was a pretty hard game»
26.10.2025

Reaktor forward Nikolai Krivolapov speaks with the media after following 4–5 loss against Tymesnky Legion.
– It was a pretty hard game. We had a bad start, but then we managed to even the game. Unfortunately, in the third period, with the score tied, we relaxed. Luck was not on our side for a while, and we did not have time to put pressure on them at the end. I think if we had had more time, we could have sent the game into overtime.– Do you connect the tough start to last night's game, where you expended a lot of energy and emotion?
– Absolutely not. On the contrary, last night's game only gave us more strength and confidence. We had good finishing, which could have carried over to today's game. Unfortunately, it didn't work out.
– You dominated the offensive zone toward the end of the game, but one counterattack led to a goal, which turned out to be the winning goal. Is it fair to blame a lack of hockey luck in that episode?
– That happens in junior hockey. It seems like you're putting pressure on your opponent, creating chances, but one counterattack can turn everything around. That's what happened today.
– Was there any underestimation of the opponent?
– There should not be any underestimation, because victories are achieved only through your own efforts.
