Neftekhimik head coach Oleg Leontyev speaks with the media after a following 3–2 win over Admiral.
– Congratulations to the guys on this victory! Great team effort. We played we a good discipline. We scored a shorthanded goal, on the power play and and at even strength too. It was a tough game against difficult opponent. Congratulations to the fans and the whole team, we are getting ready for the upcoming game.– It seemed that at the end of the second, the opposing team had a disadvantage in terms of physics, but in the third, the opposite happened, Admiral played high–paced hockey, and Neftekhimik did not.
– As you know, when there is a series of games, and all of these game are played at a high level, the guys spend a lot of energy. Secondly, the opponent tried to tie the game up. We played we ll defensively.
– Against Dynamo Moscow we did not get any penalties. Today we got three, why?
– The power play decides a lot in games. That is why it is necessary to net let your opponent use this advantage . We are working on it.
