Neftekhimik head coach Oleg Leontyev speaks with the media after a following 2–1 overtime win against Avangard.
– Congrats to all Neftekhimik fans on this victory! Congratulations to Filipp Dolganov on his first KHL win.
It was a tough game. We played well defensively. We had a lot of goal-scoring chances. It is great that we got a win. We will prepare for the upcoming game.
– Why did the team exchange Nazarov?
– Nazarov had a good season last year. This season he did not have a good start. That is why we decided to exchange Nazarov for Setdikov. I know Nikita and his potential. It will be better for Misha Nazarov to have some kind of reboot. We wish him all the best with Sibir team.
We called up Nikita Khoruzhev and Amir Nugmanov from Reaktor. Every hockey player gets his chance.

– We conceded in the first shit again. Sure, we tried to do our best. It is good that we managed to tie the game up. In overtime, we decided to make a risky play and changed our goalie for an extra forward. Neftekhimik goaltender kept his team in the game. We got one point after this game. We will prepare for the next game.
