– You know, when you play against team like Ak Bars, you need to be patient and wait for their mistakes. We did it. Filipp played great; the guys blocked a lot of shots. We did not get unnecessary penalties and did not let an opponent use their strong side – power play. I want to say thank you to the fans who cheered for us. We are getting ready for the next game.

– Probably, now everyone is in the same condition. I believe that we are feeling good.

– We played well in the first period – scored two goals. Perhaps, that was a key moment of the game.

– It is important to play in a right way from the very beginning of the game. Sure, we always ready to play from the first shifts. Yeah, it is great that we scored first. In the second period, both teams had goal–scoring chances.

Ak Bars Head Coach, Zinetula Bilyaletdinov:

– In principle, we played well and created a lot of scoring chances. We did not have enough composure. We made mistakes at the beginning and conceded two unnecessary goals. Nevertheless, the team tried to do its best. We must give credit to the opposing goaltender, he played great.
