Pavel Poryadin: «Perhaps, we just were not lucky enough»

Pavel Poryadin:

- It was a good game; unfortunately, on the road games we did not take advantage of our goal-scoring chances. It was a head-to-head game.

- Today, you had these chances to score and you helped your teammates to these chances too. What is the reason of not scoring goals?

- If we talk about me… From the very beginning of the season, some shots were close to the net, after other shots the puck did not go in. I am trying to find out the main reason. Perhaps, we just were not lucky enough... Maybe, there is some lack of the skill.

- Do you agree with the opinion that SKA played a little bit lightly in the first period?

- We tried to play our game; we did not look at other teams. The rink is small here. We have to try to rush the net.

- You recently played your 250th KHL game. Is it significant for you?

- You know, time flies. It seems that only yesterday, I played my first KHL game and now it is the 250th. Time flies, you have to play hockey and enjoy it.

- In previous interviews, you often said that you were trying to find out what happened...

- Yeah, just trying to find out what is wrong. Psychology is a huge part of sports. We should know how to go through difficulties. Then it will break through and everything will fly. I remember that there were such difficult times before, when I even thought about hanging up my skates. Later, fortunately, there was positive too. For example, I was invited to play for the first national team of Russia.
