Neftekhimik lost to Avangard 1–2.
In the first, right in the beginning, Avangard andd Neftekhimik took penalties. Both teams tried its best, but goaltenders did a good job and did not concede any goals.In the second, Avangard had more puck possesion and could not capitalize on it. Neftekhimik responded with sharp counterattacks.
In the third, the home team got a great chance to score first goal of the game on the 5–on–3 power play. During 5–on–4 hockey, Neftekhimik defenseman Luca Profaka
scored first goal of the game on the power play. After that, there was a chance for the guest team to tie the game up. They did it nine minutes before the end of the period on the power play. In the 56th minute, Avangard scored a game–winning goals on the power play.
